Hi, my name is Kathy Kosek and the name of my business is KJK Web Design Services. I have been involved with website development for over 13 years. In fact, up until recently my main job duties within the New York State (NYS) Department of Health were that of a web developer. Although I still do some web development work at the NYS Department of Health unfortunately not as much as I used to, due to a change of job title. So when my daughters, one an Artist and one a Musician pleaded with me to make websites for them, I was thrilled as well as challenged.
What are some of the services I provide?
Honestly, it really wasn’t until after I completed my first personal website that included links to both my daughters’ interests, (Art and Music) did I decide that I wanted to work on an individual basis with clients who wanted to work with a developer on a personal level. After I completed that site, I decided to start my own business called “KJK Web Design Services”. Although my sites slogan is “It’s All Here” meaning Art, Music, and Web Design Services –I am really proud to say that KJK Web Design Service’s main strength is “Personal Customer Service”. I will work with every client from beginning to end - with the end result being a website that works for them.
Some of the SERVICES I provide:
~ Complimentary consultation. Please fill out FORM for consultation.
~ Help register domain name and set up web hosting account
~ Create a “new one–of-a-kind” website, with images, logos, etc.
~ Updates and enhancements to current site
~ Help with content management
~ Routine maintenance
What do I charge for my services?
Because I am still in the early stages of developing my business I am willing to offer an occasional pro bono site for non-profit organizations that represent a cause I wish to promote. For all other projects, I offer a complimentary consultation where we will discuss the desired outcomes of a project. During the complimentary consultation, costs and other needs will be discussed and a contract drawn up.
My rates consist of the following:
~ A simple (yet one-of-a-kind) 4 page website with graphical navigation buttons and one logo/heading graphic....$500.00
~ Each additional page....$100.00
~ Each additional custom graphic....$50.00
~ Any interactive or dynamic page generating script configuration is extra depending on the extra features needed.
~ Website maintenance price discussed at time of consultation.
*Please note the above prices do not include domain name registration or web hosting costs. Most domain name and registration with web hosting costs around $120 for 2 years.

What are my future plans?
Because I truly do believe in Anne Frank’s quote “I keep my ideals, because in spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart”, I plan on having a blog on my site in the very near future titled “Everyday Encounters”. This will be my very first blog, and I am really excited about it. On this blog I am hoping people will submit an experience where either they have had a random act of kindness happen to them or where they have done a random act of kindness to someone else. I believe this blog will be a way to promote the many acts of kindness that do occur everyday, with the hope that even more will happen as of result of attention being brought to the ones that do occur. Meanwhile, if you have an experience you wish to share, please send them to me at kkosek@nycap.rr.com and I will post on my blog when it becomes available.
Okay just one more thing, please if you have any original or what you think are outstanding quotes to share, please send to me at kkosek@nycap.rr.com, as I am a quoteoholic? (is that even a word?) Doubtful. Oh well…
